The YesNoMaybe Promise & Terms of Use

Welcome to YesNoMaybe. We built this platform to foster genuine, mature connections. To keep our community safe, high-quality and intentional, we've set a few foundational rules. By joining, using our services or purchasing credits, you agree to these terms.

1. An Exclusive Space for Adults (21+)

YesNoMaybe is strictly for adults. You must be at least 21 years old, and the legal age of majority where you live, to use this service. Quality connections require maturity, so there are no exceptions, no parental overrides and no "verify later" grace periods. By joining, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you will never allow a minor to access your account. If we discover that an account belongs to or is used by someone under 21, it will be closed immediately and permanently.

2. Optional Verification

Anonymity is all you need to start an account, but members can choose to add a verification level to their alias profile and search criteria. Verification is optional and adds a layer of authenticity. If you use it, you may be asked to provide personal identification so we can confirm that your alias answers match it, along with a liveness check: a live camera call where you turn your head. Your identification is not stored, and we discard the details once the call ends. If you change any verified answers, they will need to be verified again, and repeat verifications cost credits. If you choose Level 5 verification, our system captures a live photo of you and adds it to your alias as a specially tagged photo.

3. Uncompromising Safety Standards

We fiercely protect our members and have zero tolerance for any behavior that puts our community at risk, especially where minors are concerned. If we detect signs of underage use, deceptive identities, abandoned accounts, suspicious profiles or coaching, we may freeze or close accounts immediately, without prior notice.

4. Photo Curation

Think of your YesNoMaybe profile as a private introduction through a high-end matchmaker. Your photos should show how you would present yourself at a thoughtful, in-person meeting. We require clear, solo photos with your face, eyes, nose and mouth visible. That means no group shots, no children in the frame, no hats, no sunglasses, no masks, no shots taken from far away, and no explicit or overly suggestive content. Our team reviews every submission to keep the respectful atmosphere our members expect. Commercial content is not allowed, and AI-generated or heavily filtered images may be removed when discovered.

5. Mutual Respect & Acceptable Use

We expect all members to treat each other with grace and integrity. You agree not to harass, stalk, defraud or deceive others. Using bots or stolen payment methods, or attempting to reverse-engineer our platform, will result in immediate removal. This is a space for authentic matchmaking, not commercial services or exploitation.

6. The Matchmaking Experience

YesNoMaybe is designed to curate thoughtful introductions, not to guarantee a particular outcome. We provide the tools, the matching and a secure environment, but we are not a party to your offline interactions. Always use caution and common sense when meeting someone new. Never meet anyone for money, and never offer anyone money. On a matchmaking site, anyone who brings up money in any amount is a scammer, so never send money and never discuss it.

7. Credits and Processing

To keep YesNoMaybe free, we use a straightforward credit system. Credits unlock premium features, such as higher volumes, faster turnaround, dedicated services, more analytics, extra aliases, extra searches and tailored searches. Credits are one-time purchases of processing and feature delivery, not a wager or a game of chance. Because processing can't be undone, credits are non-refundable once they've been spent on a service. We will never enroll you in a recurring subscription without your explicit consent. You must keep enough credits in your balance for the searches and services you choose, or they won't run.

8. Your Content & Our Property

You keep ownership of the content you share, and grant us only the licenses needed to run the service and verify your identity. The YesNoMaybe brand, software and matching algorithms remain ours. Only upload content you have the right to use.

9. The Legal Details

Our service is provided "as is." We strive for excellence, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted access or perfectly accurate matches. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited, and you agree to indemnify YesNoMaybe against claims arising from misuse of the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire.
